Online Poker Strategy Articles

Often times when we're playing poker online, someone breaks us off a little piece of verbiage that we are unfamiliar with. Now, we cannot ask the person what he/she meant by that, because we don't know if it was an insult or a compliment! So, in order to help educate, I've written up this little online poker dictionary. As with a normal dictionary, the word/phrase in question is the first word, in bold, and under it is the translation. To illustrate the word, some words will be shown used in a common sentence, in italics below the definition. Enjoy!
Fish
A term used usually by individuals who just got busted out of a tournament, usually when a better player takes them out in a hand when they are overvaluing a premium hand.
Angrydude01 [Observer] : 'You flipping fish, how could you call my all-in with 55 when I was holding AK!!! AK never loses, fish'
Pot odds
Used to justify calling off insane amounts of chips with a gut-shot/over-cards.
PhloppinPhil: 'Yeah you had a set and I only had a gut-shot, but I had pot odds to call your 1500 chip bet into the pot of 1000.'
Rigged
I don't understand percentages, therefore my dominant hand should win 100% of the time.
