The hand was played pretty weird. Phil had pocket 8's and raised in early position. A guy in one of the blinds called the raise. The board hit three spades and was checked. I think a checked turn, and an As on the river giving one guy A's and giving Phil the flush. The guy turned over his hand and said I have an ace. He didn't have a spade. Phil threw his hand in the muck holding the 8s. I think it was a 700k pot or so. Don't know how much was edited but he seemed to be very tired and had a loss of concentration at that point and hands around that time.

I think we have 12 days until the final table is aired, right? Do they actually play it on the 8th and air it on the 9th?
Best of Luck,

That sounds right because after the next commercial they came back and the 1st shot was Ivey really going for it with a 30-45 second yawn...

I don't care if he folds quads, I just hope he wins and for God's sake I hope he knocks out Jeff Shulman!!!! Go Phil....you deserve it my brother!!!! I wonder what kind of prop bets people are putting up??? What about Vegas casinos... are they laying odds on Ivey??????

LOL..

I saw 4 diff. posts yesterday titled "Ivey mucks the best hand". Maybe "Ivey misreads his hand" would be a more telling title.

Good point. That would be more accurate.

What a donkey. The river and turn were checked why not just flip your cards over. He definitely needs those 2 million in chips at the final table. Just kidding Phil hope you win it all.
